About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, prioritize and respond to all rate inquiries in a timely manner
  • Set up, maintain, and update standard rate arrangements, discounts and fixed-fee arrangements in the billing system
  • Review Client engagement letters, Letters of Understanding, and Outside Counsel Guidelines to implement compliant rate structures
  • Partner with the Revenue Team to provide documentation and resolve e-billing rate rejections
  • Maintain accurate timekeeper and rate data and perform regular audits
  • Liaise with attorneys and the pricing team to resolve rate-related discrepancies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal billing environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong reading comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with legal billing software (Aderant experience is a plus)
  • Project management experience
