About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor, prioritize and respond to all rate inquiries in a timely manner
- Set up, maintain, and update standard rate arrangements, discounts and fixed-fee arrangements in the billing system
- Review Client engagement letters, Letters of Understanding, and Outside Counsel Guidelines to implement compliant rate structures
- Partner with the Revenue Team to provide documentation and resolve e-billing rate rejections
- Maintain accurate timekeeper and rate data and perform regular audits
- Liaise with attorneys and the pricing team to resolve rate-related discrepancies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal billing environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong reading comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with legal billing software (Aderant experience is a plus)
- Project management experience
