About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain professional relationships with regional Opinion Leaders in ANCA Vasculitis, Rheumatology, and Nephrology
  • Manage regional speaker bureau relationships, including speaker training, compliance, and recommendations
  • Map and manage relationships with key national Vasculitis Centers and large treatment facilities
  • Lead brand activity at regional and national inflammation conferences, including managing product theaters and sponsorships
  • Coordinate one-to-one exchanges between the brand team and KOLs
  • Work cross-functionally with medical, training, marketing, and sales teams to develop aligned external engagement strategies
  • Provide market insights to the marketing team to inform advisory boards and brand strategy
  • Drive peer-to-peer marketing initiatives such as advisory boards and content development

Requirements

  • Doctorate with 2 years of relevant experience, Master's with 4 years, Bachelor's with 6 years, Associates with 10 years, or High school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Rheumatology, Nephrology, or Rare Disease in customer-facing roles
  • Expertise in KOL mapping, engagement, and developing HCP key customer strategies
  • Willingness to travel 50-65% and work select evenings or weekends
  • Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build advocacy in the rheumatology or nephrology space
  • Existing relationships with key opinion leaders and Centers of Excellence
  • Clinical, technical, and scientific proficiency in complex disease states
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Ability to navigate strategic accounts such as Integrated Delivery Networks and Academic Medical Centers
