About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot Baseband software issues at the RAN level using logs, traces, KPIs, and radio performance data
- Take a holistic view of network problems, considering radio conditions, configurations, and feature combinations
- Collaborate with system designers and developers to identify root causes and define robust fixes or design improvements
- Contribute to the design and systemization of new 5G/NR and LTE features from a performance and robustness perspective
- Drive automation and data analytics to improve issue detection, analysis, and prevention
- Work with customer teams to reproduce and resolve network problems in high-visibility environments
- Document technical findings and share best practices and tools across the organization
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience debugging complex technical issues end-to-end
- Solid knowledge of RAN aspects for 5G/NR and/or LTE, including architecture, protocols, scheduling, and radio performance
- Practical experience with Baseband software architecture or programming, including the ability to reason about software behavior
- Experience with system design, development, or testing within 5G or LTE environments
- Proficiency in using troubleshooting and analysis tools such as log/trace tools, KPI dashboards, and radio performance tools
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills to explain complex technical findings to stakeholders
