About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform RAM and Safety analyses for the design, development, test, commissioning, and certification of complex Rail Systems.
- Work with stakeholders to develop RAM and Safety specifications, requirements, plans, and analyses.
- Manage RAM and Safety requirements using DOORS Requirements Management Tools.
- Communicate plans, requirements, results, and technical information effectively to customers across various management levels.
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of technology systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of related professional engineering experience.
- Proven experience applying and developing RAM and Safety analyses following the EN-50126 suite of standards.
- Experience with MIL-STD-882 standards.
- Proficiency with DOORS Requirements Management Tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and contribute effectively to focus groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC/IEEE-15288 System Engineering Standards.
- Experience working on large-scale Rail Systems or critical infrastructure construction projects.
