Ramp Service Agent

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
• Load and unload baggage and cargo on and off aircraft
• Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders and tugs
• Perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and water service
• Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guide man functions
• Maintain a secure work environment and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50-75 lbs)
• Valid driver's license maintained throughout employment
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and noisy environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aviation or ground handling operations
• Familiarity with aircraft types and airport layouts
• Experience operating ground support equipment like forklifts or tugs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
