Railway Track Works Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage track renewal and installation projects, including track components (ADV) and related infrastructure.
• Lead project preparation by analyzing technical files, defining operating modes, and budgeting sites.
• Plan works schedules to accommodate strict sector constraints, such as night operations, weekends, and traffic interruptions.
• Supervise field teams, including site managers, track layers, and railway machine operators.
• Oversee specific track works such as railway earthworks, ballasting, sleeper laying, rail welding, and rail release.
• Ensure absolute compliance with railway safety regulations, prevention plans, and geometric tolerances.
• Manage project budgets in real-time and organize final work receptions with clients.

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Public Works, or Transport Infrastructure.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering or Railway Works (track-specific experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of track laying and maintenance techniques.
• Proven team management and negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of railway safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license (Permis B).
• Full availability for night shifts, weekend work, and travel as required by project sites.
