Railway Systems Engineer

ALTEN is a leader in Engineering and IT Services, supporting major industrial players in their innovation and technological development projects. We are strengthening our railway activities and looking for experts to work on complex embedded systems and transport projects.

Responsibilities

• Compile system verification evidence using various methods (Documentation, Analysis, Tests)
• Update sizing simulations and performance data
• Participate in demonstrating system requirement compliance
• Complete verification evidence and homologation checklists
• Write integration, power-on, and optimization test procedures
• Prepare and coordinate test campaigns
• Analyze results and compile associated evidence
• Produce and distribute test reports
• Manage system documentation and configuration of deliverables
• Organize document transmission to clients and follow up on acceptances
• Prepare for project reviews and handle client feedback/anomaly reports

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5)
• Experience in system engineering, system validation, or integration in a complex industrial environment
• Proficiency with the V-model lifecycle
• Experience in system verification and validation
• Knowledge of embedded systems or the railway sector
• Skills in document and requirements management
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DOORS
• Experience with ORCHESTRA / PDM
• Experience with CCT / SITMOD
• Experience with ControlBuild, VirtualBird, or JIRA/ADS
