Railway Signaling Configuration & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and collect technical configuration data from product and network teams
• Produce system configurations by entering and controlling technical parameters in configuration tools
• Generate configuration files for target equipment and perform consistency checks before deployment
• Develop test procedures and test logs for validation platforms
• Install and configure test platforms to perform communication and system startup tests
• Analyze test results and manage the processing of any identified discrepancies
• Contribute to the industrialization and automation of configuration and validation processes

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Networks, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments
• Experience with development and automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Excel macros
• Ability to use network analysis tools like Wireshark
• Strong understanding of configuration management and version control
• Experience with test platforms and system integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of railway signaling and interlocking systems
• Experience with industrial networks, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructures
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux architectures
• Experience in automating production and validation processes
