Railway Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical design solutions, drawings, and project documentation
• Analyze Terms of Reference and prepare bid requests for subcontractors
• Participate in design activities to meet contract deadlines and schedules
• Conduct field visits and monitor projects during execution
• Maintain relationships with beneficiaries, subcontractors, and local administrations
• Ensure technical documentation is available for reviewers and checkers
• Support the approval process and handle notices to beneficiaries
• Prepare technical offers and intermediate reports

Requirements

• Technical or Engineering degree
• 3-5 years of experience in railway design and monitoring in Romania (advantageous)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and dedicated design software
• Strong computer skills in MS Office
• Fluent Romanian
• Good spoken and written English (advantageous)
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in team collaboration
