Railroad Crossing Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply vegetation control treatments at railroad crossings to meet contract specifications
• Fill trucks with water/chemical mix and safely operate spray trucks between crossings
• Perform weed eating with industrial equipment and chainsaw work as needed
• Pull, roll up, and manage 300–500 feet of hose multiple times daily
• Call MTM for daily job briefings and complete end-of-day paperwork
• Drive spray trucks safely and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years of age with valid driver's license and 5+ years clean driving history
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check
• Willingness to travel 1–3 weeks at a time with flexible schedule including possible weekends or nights
• Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy
