Railroad Crossing Technician

Responsibilities

• Fill trucks with water/chemical mix and perform minor weed eating and chainsaw work (16" bar minimum)
• Pull and roll up 300–500 feet of hose up to 32 times per day
• Spray 8–10 railroad crossings daily and safely drive spray trucks between crossings
• Call MTM for daily job briefings and complete required end-of-day paperwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Valid driver's license with at least 5 years clean driving history
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check
• Ability to travel 1-3 weeks at a time (home weekends except for 2-3 weeks per season)
• Flexible schedule with possible weekend or night work
• Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy
