Railroad Crossing Technician

Responsibilities

• Fill trucks with water and chemical mix for vegetation control treatments at railroad crossings
• Perform weed eating and chainsaw work as part of daily maintenance tasks
• Pull, roll up, and manage hoses during spray operations
• Safely drive and operate spray trucks between 8–10 crossings daily
• Call MTM for daily job briefings and complete required end-of-day paperwork
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of clean driving history
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check
• Ability to travel away from home for 4–6 weeks at a time
• Flexible schedule to accommodate 10–12 hour shifts, weekends, and nights as needed
• Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy
