Rail Systems Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the integration, coordination, and delivery of all rail systems across all project stages.
• Oversee multidisciplinary systems including signalling (ATC/CBTC), telecommunications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, and platform systems.
• Ensure full integration between rail systems, airport interfaces, passenger systems, and operational interfaces.
• Manage systems engineering activities including requirements management, interface management, verification, and validation.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of Design and Construct tender documentation and technical specifications.
• Support testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, SIT, and trial operations.
• Identify and manage technical, operational, and integration risks, implementing necessary mitigation measures.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the AECO industry.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in rail projects or rail operations (Dubai, GCC, or international).
• Extensive knowledge of rail systems integration for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of signalling, communications, traction power, OCC, and rolling stock.
• Proven expertise in Systems Engineering principles and requirements management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering or railway institution.
• Experience managing complex rail systems packages within mega-infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with international railway standards and regulatory requirements.
