Raider Immersion Intern - Team Member (ARS)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a multidisciplinary student team to design and develop a prototype Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
• Complete assigned milestones including data entry workflows, record storage, search, filtering, and basic reporting.
• Collaborate with peers across technical domains such as Computer Science, Data Science, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Assist in the implementation and testing of technical requirements to ensure a user-friendly solution.
• Coordinate with the Team Lead to clarify project scope and deliverables.
• Participate in team meetings to report progress and present deliverables to technical and non-technical end-users, including senior leaders.
• Create and maintain proper documentation for end-users and future team members.

Requirements

• Current enrollment at Wright State University (undergraduate or graduate level).
• U.S. citizenship is required to meet federal contract requirements.
• Experience or coursework in team-based project development.
• Technical proficiency in one or more of the following: software engineering, scripting/programming, user interface design, communicating with software APIs, or data analysis and modeling.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across diverse technical domains.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Systems Engineering).
