Radiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT scans and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate GE PET/CT scanners and troubleshoot technical issues
• Carry out IV cannulations for contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct quality assurance procedures and monitor patient progress
• Participate in departmental audits and mentor junior staff
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Radiotherapy (e.g., BSc in Radiotherapy)
• Minimum 1 year of UK experience in PET/CT scanning
• Experience in administration of radiopharmaceuticals
• IV Cannulation certificate
• BLS training
• Experience operating GE PET/CT scanners
