Radiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists and medical physicists
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Operate advanced radiotherapy equipment
• Monitor patient responses and maintain detailed records
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the radiotherapy service

Requirements

• Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent
• Current registration with the HCPC
• At least 2 years of experience in a Band 7 Radiotherapist role or similar
• Proficiency in using advanced radiotherapy equipment and techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
