About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver radiotherapy treatments
- Ensure accurate dose delivery and monitor patient responses
- Work closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans
- Maintain detailed patient records
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and functioning
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
- Provide support and reassurance to patients throughout their treatment journey
Requirements
- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in therapeutic radiography
- Proficiency in planning and delivering radiotherapy treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
