Radiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients
• Work collaboratively with oncologists, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Operate radiotherapy equipment
• Monitor patient progress
• Maintain accurate treatment records
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent
• Current registration with the HCPC
• At least 1 year of experience as a Band 6 Radiotherapist or in a similar role
• Competence in using modern radiotherapy equipment and techniques
• Understanding of radiation safety and protection measures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
