Radiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients
• Operate advanced radiotherapy equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Perform quality assurance checks
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans
• Provide patient support and education throughout the treatment journey

Requirements

• Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Previous experience as a Radiotherapist, preferably at Band 6 level
• Proficiency in advanced radiotherapy equipment and techniques
• Strong understanding of radiotherapy safety standards and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Varian and Aria experience
