Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols
• Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards
• Identify patients and review exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnosis
• Utilize HIS and PACS computer systems for quality patient documentation
• Maintain HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to obtain necessary computer skills for online learning and documentation within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in radiology
