About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols
- Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards
- Identify patients and review exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnosis
- Utilize HIS and PACS computer systems for quality patient documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to obtain necessary computer skills for online learning and documentation within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in radiology
