Radiology Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs
• Assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate the process for ordering procedures and transmitting images to the radiologist
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Utilize computer and software applications necessary for job functions

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
• State Fluoroscopy license where applicable
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with co-workers and patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of previous experience in radiology
• At least one year of hospital experience
