About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform chest radiography for tuberculosis screening follow-up
- Support radiographic services in medical intake and chest x-ray areas
- Coordinate with credentialed radiologists for image interpretation
- Communicate completed imaging studies to ordering healthcare providers
- Apply radiation safety practices and maintain dosimetry controls
- Maintain imaging-related documentation and records
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Requirements
- Current National Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Unrestricted and current Radiology Technician license in Texas or ability to obtain one
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (JRCERT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a medical examination and background investigation
- U.S. citizenship and five-year U.S. residency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in detention, correctional, or residential healthcare settings
- Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish
