Radiology Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform chest radiography for tuberculosis screening follow-up
• Support radiographic services in medical intake and chest x-ray areas
• Coordinate with credentialed radiologists for image interpretation
• Communicate completed imaging studies to ordering healthcare providers
• Apply radiation safety practices and maintain dosimetry controls
• Maintain imaging-related documentation and records
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Requirements

• Current National Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Unrestricted and current Radiology Technician license in Texas or ability to obtain one
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (JRCERT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to pass a medical examination and background investigation
• U.S. citizenship and five-year U.S. residency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in detention, correctional, or residential healthcare settings
• Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish
