Radiologist

Responsibilities

• Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy
• Perform and supervise ultrasound examinations and image-guided diagnostic or interventional procedures
• Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports to referring physicians
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and clinical case discussions
• Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety regulations and quality assurance protocols
• Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, residents, and radiographers
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency reporting as required by the hospital

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• MD, DNB, DMRD, FRCR, Arab Board, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Radiology
• Eligibility for or possession of a valid Oman Ministry of Health (MoH) license
• Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital setting
• Strong expertise in cross-sectional imaging, specifically CT and MRI interpretation
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills
