About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach curriculum developed by the department to maximize student learning
- Plan and organize instruction using appropriate teaching and learning strategies
- Prepare, distribute, and submit syllabi in accordance with department policies
- Employ instructional technology and modify methods to meet diverse student needs
- Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student information
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum of two years of work experience in radiography as a certified ARRT radiographer
- Up-to-date maintenance of an Ohio radiographer license
- Demonstrated ability to use modern educational technology and multimedia-based instruction
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a culturally diverse community
- Must reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky, or be able to perform work within one of these states
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful clinical and teaching experience in radiologic technology
- Evidence of successful prior teaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies
