About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach curriculum developed by the department to maximize student learning
  • Plan and organize instruction using appropriate teaching and learning strategies
  • Prepare, distribute, and submit syllabi in accordance with department policies
  • Employ instructional technology and modify methods to meet diverse student needs
  • Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student information

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in radiography as a certified ARRT radiographer
  • Up-to-date maintenance of an Ohio radiographer license
  • Demonstrated ability to use modern educational technology and multimedia-based instruction
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a culturally diverse community
  • Must reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky, or be able to perform work within one of these states

Preferred Qualifications

  • Successful clinical and teaching experience in radiologic technology
  • Evidence of successful prior teaching experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies
