Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical providers
• Position patients properly and utilize lead shields to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure
• Explain procedures to patients and refer them to medical providers for diagnosis and results
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to the scope of practice and protecting patient privacy
• Collaborate with medical, dental, and behavioral health providers to ensure integrated care
• Manage electronic health records, log all X-rays performed, and enter appropriate CPT codes
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and manage supply requisition and inventory

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radiological Technology
• ARRT registration
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced clinic or hospital environment
