Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform digital x-rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images safely and compliantly
• Conduct clinical intake, including obtaining medical history, current medications, chief complaints, and vital signs
• Assist physicians with various medical procedures and examinations
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs, audiograms, spirometry testing, and eye exams
• Execute CLIA-waived lab tests, collect labels, and process specimens for send-out
• Document medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Manage patient follow-ups, including callbacks, arranging referrals, and scheduling appointments
• Perform quality checks on medical equipment and assist with clerical or registration duties as needed

Requirements

• Current State RT license
• CPR certification
• High school diploma
• Proficiency in digital x-ray technology
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM with high accuracy
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekend hours as needed
• Ability to transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
