Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patient and staff
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
• Complete training for DOT Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
• Propose improvements to processes and workflows

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR-BLS
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credential
