Radiographic Test Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic inspections on pipes to identify and mark defects in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure product quality complies with defined standards and report any deviations
• Execute changeover and setup of X-Ray and revealing equipment
• Prepare X-Ray plates according to established quality procedures
• Identify, position, and settle X-Ray plates on pipes
• Perform machine operations and assist with machine lockouts, tagouts, and operative maintenance
• Update tracking systems and record all obtained inspection results

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) techniques
• Proficiency in Visual Inspection and Magnetic Particle testing
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Knowledge of the ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) process and the tubing industry
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including overtime, holidays, and weekends
