Radiodiagnosis and Nuclear Medicine Specialist Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging tests using appropriate tools and equipment to facilitate medical diagnosis.
• Manage the full patient care cycle, including reception, documentation verification, and patient orientation.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary machinery and materials (helium levels, contrasts, injectors) are ready.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean diagnostic equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and inventory control.
• Implement and communicate safety protocols to patients to ensure correct execution of procedures.
• Inform patients about diagnostic acts, equipment handling, and the preparation of radiopharmaceutical doses.
• Execute administrative tasks such as filing consents, preparing study envelopes, and delivering results.
• Provide support to assistants as required to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Requirements

• Proven previous experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); a practical test will be conducted.
• Valid CSN license for operating X-ray equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Strong technical knowledge of radioprotection and magnetic fields.
• Proficiency in radiation principles (amperage, CT scan functionality) and various imaging machine tests.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as venous access (canalization) or anal probing.
