Radio Presenter

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present an innovative and creative live weekday radio program that informs, entertains, and engages audiences.
• Develop original story ideas and content across both radio and digital platforms.
• Build strong connections with the local community and maintain relevant regional contacts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality local and national content.
• Contribute to editorial planning and commissioning processes.
• Support ABC emergency broadcasting and coverage when required.
• Identify opportunities to share and promote content across the wider ABC network.

Requirements

• Strong on-air presentation skills with demonstrated experience delivering engaging audio content.
• Excellent editorial judgement and the ability to identify, research, and shape compelling stories.
• A genuine interest in and understanding of regional communities.
• Ability to reflect diverse voices and perspectives.
• Willingness to present programs out in the community from time to time.

• Base salary of $100k - $122k.
