About the role
Responsibilities
- Design antenna to baseband RF subsystems using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs
- Perform discrete design including PLL, LNA, Mixers, and PA
- Implement or supervise schematic capture and PCB layout
- Conduct RF performance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure overall system design provides good EMI performance
- Verify circuit board design and radio products pass emission and immunity regulations
- Troubleshoot RF-related production yield problems and improve design for manufacturability
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience
- Working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging
- Hands-on experience solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues
- Experience using RF simulation tools such as AWR Microwave Office or Altium
- Must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent bench skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong data analysis skills
