Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design antenna to baseband RF subsystems using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs
• Perform discrete design including PLL, LNA, Mixers, and PA
• Implement or supervise schematic capture and PCB layout
• Conduct RF performance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure overall system design provides good EMI performance
• Verify circuit board design and radio products pass emission and immunity regulations
• Troubleshoot RF-related production yield problems and improve design for manufacturability

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience
• Working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging
• Hands-on experience solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues
• Experience using RF simulation tools such as AWR Microwave Office or Altium
• Must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent bench skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong data analysis skills
