Radio Engineer

Responsibilities

• Study the market and battlefield situations to identify existing, promising, or missing RF solutions
• Test, validate, and integrate radio systems into new and existing products against customer and internal requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop custom antenna and radio solutions
• Serve as the go-to expert for radio communications within the company
• Collaborate with governmental bodies to secure permissions for licensed bands and power outputs

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of radio technology and its limitations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Pragmatic mindset with commitment to validating expectations in real-world conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and evaluating custom antennas
• Experience building or implementing Software Defined Radios
• Experience in the defence industry or contested RF environments
• Knowledge of radio frontend design and manufacturing
