Radiation Protection Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure radiation protection (RP) missions in accordance with DPSN 4 circular
• Monitor compliance with radiation protection rules for both equipment and personnel
• Implement prevention measures adapted to each environment
• Perform radiological measurements and ambient controls
• Calibrate measuring devices and monitor regulatory controls
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on specific equipment
• Draft technical documents and intervention reports
• Raise awareness and train personnel on radiological risks

Requirements

• Bac+2/3 degree in Radiation Protection or Physical Measurements
• At least 3 years of experience in radiation protection within nuclear or sensitive industrial environments
• Level 2 Radiation Protection Certification (Personne Compétente en Radioprotection - PCR)
• Training for intervention in nuclear environments
• Mastery of radiological measurement techniques and calibration procedures
• Knowledge of radiation protection regulations and DPSN 4 circular
