About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and stage patients requiring radiation therapy in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and supervise individualized treatment plans using CyberKnife, IMRT, SBRT, TrueBeam STx, Tomotherapy, theranostics, and brachytherapy
- Oversee daily treatment delivery and monitor patient response
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and side effects
- Participate in multi-disciplinary tumor boards and case conferences
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Experience or strong interest in SRS, SBRT, and advanced technologies like CyberKnife or Tomotherapy
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
