Radiation Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and stage patients requiring radiation therapy in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and supervise individualized treatment plans using CyberKnife, IMRT, SBRT, TrueBeam STx, Tomotherapy, theranostics, and brachytherapy
• Oversee daily treatment delivery and monitor patient response
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and side effects
• Participate in multi-disciplinary tumor boards and case conferences
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• Experience or strong interest in SRS, SBRT, and advanced technologies like CyberKnife or Tomotherapy
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
