About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex systems engineering efforts for Radar/RF systems across space, ground, and mission operations environments
  • Provide technical direction on Radar/RF phenomenology, collection methodology, and mission processing
  • Perform requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and validation
  • Conduct architecture analysis, trade studies, and solution alternative assessments for GEOINT and space systems
  • Analyze mission processing approaches to mitigate radio frequency interference
  • Perform RF engineering assessments related to system resiliency and jamming resistance
  • Coordinate systems integration strategy and end-to-end mission closure
  • Advise Government and industry stakeholders on technical strategy and engineering priorities
  • Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph
  • BS/BA in a technical or STEM field (Engineering, Physics, etc.)
  • Experience with Radar/RF systems, preferably in satellite or airborne environments
  • Knowledge of Radar/RF phenomenology and collection/processing methodologies
  • RF engineering experience including jamming resistance design
  • Understanding of systems engineering core processes (requirements, architecture, risk management)
  • GEOINT domain knowledge including space and ground architecture
  • Experience with IC, DoD, or commercial space architectures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MBSE tools, UML, and SysML
  • Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and Agile/SAFe methods
  • OCSMP certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
  • Prior experience supporting NGA, NRO, NSG, or other IC/DoD mission environments
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical teams
