Radar Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools in MATLAB to support sensor performance data analysis
• Perform deep dive analysis on system data to determine why functions may not meet defined objectives and requirements
• Support technical interchange meetings (TIMs), program reviews, and integration and test working groups
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including reports, plans, and technical briefs
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to government stakeholders to support decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
• 2-5 years of related experience in a technical field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Fundamental knowledge of physical optics, electromagnetic radiation, or radar systems and performance principles
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to travel 15-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with radar hardware, radar architecture, or signal processing
• Experience with Air and Missile Defense systems, flight/ground tests, or system modeling and simulation
• Understanding of Digital Engineering practices and MBSE tooling
• Knowledge of systems engineering and data analysis methodologies, including requirements management and traceability
