About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced digital signal processing algorithms for RF sensing, tagging, tracking, and locating systems
  • Research RF sensing applications and characterize signals of interest to support national security missions
  • Design and evaluate signal processing approaches using modeling, simulation, laboratory experimentation, and field testing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of RF, software, and hardware engineers to transition capabilities into deployed systems
  • Analyze experimental and operational data to validate and improve system performance
  • Interact with mission sponsors and stakeholders to understand requirements and guide technical solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
  • Five (5) years of directly relevant experience in signal processing or a related field
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q clearance and SCI clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a highly related field
  • Expertise in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image formation, processing, and exploitation
  • Proficiency in developing algorithms using Python, C/C++, MATLAB, and/or Simulink
  • Experience with GMTI radars and related processing techniques
  • Laboratory skills with RF and digital test equipment
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), Digital Communications, and Cyber Security principles
