Radar/Optics Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the Radar/Optics engineering team for the Eastern Launch & Test Range to support Space Force Range Contract objectives.
• Guide team members in understanding company vision and ensure successful planning and execution of engineering activities.
• Manage work assignments, resource allocation, and personnel training to meet schedules and responsibilities.
• Support engineering efforts related to the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of the LTRS.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, providing escalation and communication to management.
• Prepare progress reports, briefings, and cost/schedule estimates for various engineering efforts.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and develop yearly team and individual goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• 5+ years of engineering experience with an emphasis on Radar and Optics systems.
• Familiarity with ER LTRS instrumentation systems and sites.
• Knowledge of system design processes, requirements/design reviews, and formal testing.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Experience providing cost and scheduling estimates for engineering tasks.
