Racing Manager - Alpine

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and expand the Salomon Racing Community of athletes across Switzerland, from national centers to the Europacup.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Salomon athletes regarding product, performance, and organizational topics.
• Represent Salomon at key national races and events, including JO/FIS races and Swiss championships.
• Manage ski inventory, material orders, and the allocation of equipment to athletes.
• Ensure high technical standards through professional racing ski preparation and boot service.
• Scout and recruit new talent for the Salomon Racing Team and coordinate talent testing.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and global headquarters to provide product feedback and support brand activation through storytelling and social media.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience within the Swiss alpine racing environment.
• Deep expertise in racing ski preparation and technical equipment.
• Fluency in both German and English; French is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland, including frequent weekend work during the racing season.
• Physical ability to transport heavy equipment, such as skis and racing gear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in bootfitting.
• Strong understanding of ski construction and racing performance dynamics.
