Racing Manager - Alpine

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and grow the Salomon Racing community of athletes across Switzerland
• Act as the primary point of contact for athletes regarding product, performance, and organizational topics
• Represent Salomon at key national races and events to ensure brand visibility
• Manage ski inventory, material orders, and athlete allocations
• Perform technical ski preparation and boot service to ensure equipment is race-ready
• Scout and recruit new youth talent into the Salomon Racing Team
• Coordinate the test ski fleet and sample processes
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and HQ to provide product feedback and support brand activation

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience within the Swiss Alpine racing ecosystem
• Strong expertise in race ski preparation and technical equipment
• Fluency in both German and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Willingness to travel regularly across Switzerland, including frequent weekend work during race season
• Ability to physically handle and transport heavy equipment, including skis and materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in boot fitting
• Proficiency in French
• Solid understanding of ski construction and racing performance dynamics
