Rabbi

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care and pastoral counseling to Jewish residents across various care levels
• Lead weekly Shabbat services and coordinate Jewish holiday observances
• Officiate lifecycle events including funerals and memorial services
• Facilitate Torah study, discussion groups, and Jewish educational programming
• Serve as spiritual advisor to the Jewish Resident Council
• Participate in the facility’s interdisciplinary care team and Chaplaincy on-call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of pastoral experience as an ordained Rabbi
• Rabbinic Ordination from a recognized Jewish seminary
• Master’s Degree in Jewish Studies, Rabbinic Studies, or a related field
• Sensitivity to the spiritual needs of older adults

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in communal, congregational, healthcare, or senior living settings
• Experience in interfaith or ecumenical environments
