About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of up to 10 finance professionals providing end-to-end R&A support, including controlling, accounting, and reporting.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes for the Downstream Business portfolio.
- Manage the preparation of the annual Business Plan and quarterly latest estimates, ensuring accurate operational and financial KPIs.
- Act as a key interface between Finance and Business leaders, providing quality insights and resolving reporting issues.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the financial control framework and maintain data integrity in line with Group standards.
- Support internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PAR and controllership space.
- Coach team members to build capability and expertise while ensuring high team engagement and sustainable delivery.
Requirements
- Accounting qualification with 10+ years of experience in financial reporting.
- University degree in a finance-related discipline.
- Proven experience leading teams or project teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working in dynamic or ambiguous environments and managing change effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of financial and management reporting and performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CIMA or an MBA.
