RA PAR and Controller Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 finance professionals providing end-to-end R&A support, including controlling, accounting, and reporting.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes for the Downstream Business portfolio.
• Manage the preparation of the annual Business Plan and quarterly latest estimates, ensuring accurate operational and financial KPIs.
• Act as a key interface between Finance and Business leaders, providing quality insights and resolving reporting issues.
• Ensure the effectiveness of the financial control framework and maintain data integrity in line with Group standards.
• Support internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PAR and controllership space.
• Coach team members to build capability and expertise while ensuring high team engagement and sustainable delivery.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification with 10+ years of experience in financial reporting.
• University degree in a finance-related discipline.
• Proven experience leading teams or project teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience working in dynamic or ambiguous environments and managing change effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of financial and management reporting and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CIMA or an MBA.
