R&D Test Engineer Instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead instrumentation tasks for turbochargers and test rigs in cooperation with manufacturing and assembly departments
• Perform, evaluate, and document tests on turbochargers and their components
• Design mechanical rework and sensor instrumentation for turbocharger components
• Advise and support test and development teams with technical findings
• Lead and manage projects related to instrumentation tasks
• Develop measurement methods and testing infrastructure, including strain, vibration, temperature, and data transmission from rotating systems
• Coordinate tasks within and across interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or graduate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of measurement technology
• Experience with CAD design programs, preferably CATIA
• Fluency in both German and English
• Strong organizational skills and a results-oriented working style
• Experience with turbomachinery is considered an advantage
