R&D Support Manager, Future Technologies SEA

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and validate emerging technologies relevant to UFS categories such as cooking aids and condiments
• Support the translation of early-stage concepts into viable prototypes and scalable solutions
• Contribute to the development of a mid-to-long-term technology roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Provide technical guidance, feasibility assessments, and risk mitigation for innovation projects
• Build and strengthen R&D capabilities in areas including digital tools, formulation science, and process innovation
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality
• Collaborate with external partners such as startups, universities, and technology providers
• Ensure all technology development adheres to safety, quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or technology development within the FMCG or food industry
• Proven track record in innovation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong understanding of product development, scale-up, and commercialization processes
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within Cooking Aids or Condiments categories
• Exposure to digital, AI, or advanced food technologies
• Experience working on regional (SEA) or global projects
