R&D Student (Inspection Technology)

Responsibilities

• Support the R&D team in daily operations and project work within the field of inspection technology
• Assist with tasks involving Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications
• Work on automated measurement technology and image processing
• Contribute to the optimization of production plants through digital processes and AI

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Engineering or Natural Sciences (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Medical Engineering, or Data Science)
• Foundational knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and automated measurement technology
• Knowledge of image processing and a strong affinity for process digitalization and AI
• Fluent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2)
• Proficient in MS Office and possess strong IT skills
• Organized, structured, and reliable approach to work
• Previous experience through industrial internships or vocational training is a plus
