R&D Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear project plans to track scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and actions across cross-functional teams for product launches.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and constraints, and drive mitigation, escalation, and decision-making.
• Lead and support project teams by providing project management structure and organizational discipline to support DHF execution.
• Coordinate and drive accountability across cross-functional and multi-site teams to support product development, technology transfer, and launch readiness.
• Provide clear, consistent visibility into project status and health through regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Organization to continuously improve new product development processes and business alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading product development projects.
• Experience managing projects in bioprocessing, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project execution and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple sites, global teams, and time zones.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
