R&D Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear project plans to track scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and actions for product launches.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and constraints, driving mitigation and decision-making.
• Lead and support project teams by providing structure and organizational discipline to support DHF execution.
• Coordinate accountability across cross-functional and multi-site teams to support product development and technology transfer.
• Provide visibility into project status and health through regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Organization to improve new product development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of leading product development projects.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project execution.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet or Tableau to analyze schedules and budgets.
• Ability to work effectively across global teams and multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management training or professional certification(s).
• Experience managing projects in bioprocessing, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field.
