R&D Process Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop R&D processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time
• Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization using data-driven methodologies
• Conduct root cause analysis on process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Create comprehensive process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
• Utilize process simulation software and data management tools to model and validate process designs
• Lead process improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to ensure process alignment
• Monitor process performance metrics and prepare analytical reports to track KPIs
• Ensure all designed processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in process design, process engineering, or a related R&D environment
• Proficiency in process design methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Experience with process simulation software, CAD tools, or similar technical design platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear SOPs and documentation
• Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience leading improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software
• Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or laboratory environments
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with process workflows
• Background in change management and process implementation
• Advanced statistical analysis and modeling capabilities
• Experience mentoring or training team members on process improvements
