About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop R&D processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time
- Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization using data-driven methodologies
- Conduct root cause analysis on process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Create comprehensive process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
- Utilize process simulation software and data management tools to model and validate process designs
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to ensure process alignment
- Monitor process performance metrics and prepare analytical reports to track KPIs
- Ensure all designed processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in process design, process engineering, or a related R&D environment
- Proficiency in process design methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Experience with process simulation software, CAD tools, or similar technical design platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear SOPs and documentation
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience leading improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software
- Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or laboratory environments
- Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with process workflows
- Background in change management and process implementation
- Advanced statistical analysis and modeling capabilities
- Experience mentoring or training team members on process improvements
