R&D Oral Health Lead US

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable scientific authority for the US Oral Health category, setting evidence standards and scientific direction.
• Own the US Oral Health innovation and claims roadmap, including hypotheses, evidence plans, and timelines.
• Lead the end-to-end design and execution of clinical and laboratory studies to support product claims.
• Act as the primary scientific point of contact for the US Oral Health Category Roundtable.
• Partner with Regulatory and Legal teams to ensure claim substantiation meets FDA, FTC, and NAD expectations.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, Medical, Marketing, and Supply/Quality teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, DDS/DMD, or MS) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of R&D experience within consumer health, oral care, or pharmaceutical fields.
• Proven experience in clinical study design and evidence generation.
• Expertise in developing claims and evidence strategies for consumer healthcare products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of scientific thought leadership through publications, presentations, or KOL partnerships.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex scientific evidence into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Experience managing substantiation dossiers and ensuring readiness for regulatory challenges.
