R&D Mechatronics Senior Product Technical Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage the R&D Mechatronics budget and headcount, ensuring alignment with hierarchical and functional managers.
• Oversee the delivery of A/B/C/D samples and ensure DV/PV specifications are met on time and within cost.
• Lead robust design for manufacturing and validation in line with economic targets.
• Coordinate technical and design reviews with cross-functional networks, including Purchase and Industrial teams.
• Deliver essential technical documentation such as Architecture, DFMEA, DV/PV Spec, and EOL Spec.
• Manage the daily activities of R&D Mechatronics contributors, assigning work packages and tracking progress.
• Act as the primary R&D Mechatronics interface for customers, cascading requirements internally.
• Implement efficiency plans and manage QRQC for mechatronics activities to maintain project control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership within a mechatronics or automotive R&D environment.
• Strong expertise in budget management and headcount planning.
• Deep understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and DFMEA.
• Experience with DV/PV specification and sample delivery processes.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor technical contributors in a fast-paced environment.
